The Board of Fife Environment Trust recently met to consider 11 large grant requests for funding.
Of the 11 applications submitted, the Board agreed to approve 8 projects including:
£30,000 to Meedies Bike Club towards costs associated with improving Lochore Meadows Cycle Hub and White Wood Bike Park
£30,000 to Wormit and Newport Tennis Club towards costs associated with improving the tennis courts at Newport Tennis Club
£36,025 to Craigshannoch Play Park Group towards costs associated with upgrading the play park facilities at Craigshannoch Play Park
£48,500 to St Andrews Tennis Club towards costs associated with improving the toilet facilities for users of the Tennis Club and Kinburn Park
£12,009.06 to The Ecology Centre towards costs associated with improving their Winter Volunteering Programme
In total £303,842.60 was committed by the Trust for projects to improve public amenities.
