The Board of Fife Environment Trust recently met to consider 15 large grant requests for funding.

Of the 15 applications submitted, the Board agreed to approve 13 projects including:

  • £49,763 to Craigrothie Village Hall towards costs associated with reroofing, installing insulation and removing the cellar in the village hall at Craigrothie.
  • £27,908.44 to Burntisland First Aid Services Trust towards costs associated with refurbishing the former police station in Burntisland into an Education and Resource Centre.
  • £50,000 to Dunblane Square Limited towards costs associated with refurbishment of the old bank building into a modern community-led venue.
  • £30,000 to Garvock Community Group towards costs associated with upgrading the play equipment within Scobie Park in Dunfermline.
  • £15,069.85 to East Neuk Centre Trust towards costs associated with upgrading the heating system in the Erskine Hall in Anstruther.

In total £381,276.44 was committed by the Trust for projects to improve public amenities.
