The Board of Fife Environment Trust recently met to consider 15 large grant requests for funding.
Of the 15 applications submitted, the Board agreed to approve 12 projects including:
£37,306.50 to Valleyfield Community Club towards costs associated with the repair of the roof on their building and making it watertight.
£22,500 to Kettle Bowling Club towards costs associated with adding a disabled toilet facility to their current toilets and installation of a new economic boiler.
£29,926 to Oakley Community Centre Management Committee towards costs associated with the provision of a new updated, modern, age-appropriate play park.
£29,907 to Culross Stables Community Hub towards costs associated with the replacement of the roof on the building.
£20,250 to Homelands Trust for costs associated with the refurbishment of two fully accessible lodges to include wet room and bathroom alterations, installation of a new boiler and upgrading of the fire detector system.
In total, £397,367.80 was committed by the Trust for projects to improve public amenities.
